Here is a technique for re-creating a printing effect popular in the psychedelic 60’s – a posterize effect that was used frequently for Rock concert posters. This step-by-step video tutorial utilizes the Threshold adjustment, layers and layer masks, advanced blending options, smart objects, Gaussian Blur and Find Edges filters, Gradient Maps, and Difference apply mode, to create a sophisticated effect with a lot of control and flexibility.
