I’m posting a revamped version of one of my older PDF tutorials as a complete step-by-step video. This is a special preview for my sessions at the Florida Birding & Photo Festival The festival runs from April 26 – 30th, 2017 in and around St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra Beach. Florida. I will be teaching a workshop, Sunday April 30th, on 20th Century Lighting Techniques and doing a special session on Light Painting and Photoshop where I guide participants in table top photography. The following video shows one of the techniques I’ll be covering. You can register for the festival here to gain access to 15 different presenters and 114 workshops and seminars!

The Fundamentals of Photo-Illustration in Photoshop
Hi there!!
How do you sample the color in this video?? It dosen’t look like that you use the colorsample tool in Photoshop?
Frank
If you hold down the option key with any paint tool you get the color sample “eyedropper” and the color goes into the foreground.
